Quality Policy

ZONGULDAK BULENT ECEVIT UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES QUALITY POLICY

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has adopted a quality assurance system in all services provided for the purposes of education, research, and community engagement, in line with its mission, vision, and core values. Within the framework of the Quality Management System, our faculty focuses on being effective, efficient, and competitive in education, scientific research, and community service, aiming for superior performance, continuous improvement in collaboration with stakeholders, and international recognition and prestige. Our faculty has embraced the creation of its own quality system within the national quality assurance system, which was developed by adapting the international standards of quality assurance initiated by our university under the Bologna process for improvements in the European Higher Education Area to the evaluation criteria of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Turkey.

In this context, our faculty will carry out all its activities in accordance with international standards and relevant legal regulations within its own quality assurance system. The quality-oriented management system adopted will focus on continuous improvement and sustainability based on regular monitoring, with the satisfaction of our students and all stakeholders being a primary goal.

In this regard, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences commits to:

  • Ensuring the participation of all stakeholders,
  • Adopting a management approach based on defined processes, continuous evaluation, and improvement,
  • Embracing the effective use of resources.

The principles of this system, which are owned by all employees, are as follows:

  • Satisfaction of all stakeholders, primarily students,
  • Process-oriented operational management,
  • A habit of continuous improvement based on regular reviews,
  • Effective use of resources.

In this framework, the Quality Objectives of our faculty are as follows:

  • The active participation of academic, administrative staff, and students in quality assurance processes,
  • Preventing any form of discrimination in employment and work environment,
  • Making the participation of external stakeholders in quality assurance processes a regular practice.
