In alignment with the objectives related to social contribution as defined in our University's 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, our faculty has identified the following goals in the field of societal engagement:

               
               To collaborate with secondary schools in our province by organizing various educational programs and seminars for children and youth.

               To organize social aid and support programs targeting disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in need of assistance.

               To conduct research on the social structure, demographic characteristics, and societal issues of Zonguldak, and to utilize the findings for the benefit of the community.

               To develop and implement projects that support cultural, social, and economic development.

               To produce collaborative solutions to societal problems through ongoing cooperation with external stakeholders.

               To contribute to the study and public presentation of Zonguldak's cultural and industrial heritage elements.
